Les Mouettes d’Arvor, on the French coast of Brittany, turns out amazing, plump sardines that even non-sardine lovers will enjoy. These come straight out of the tin with French butter and sea salt. You just pop it quickly in a pan, and you've got an incredible topping for crostini, a baguette, or just on their own (maybe with a drizzle of lemon?).
Pair with a classic white wine from the same region: Muscadet. Or if you’re feeling more international a Grüner Veltliner for a hint of Lychee that’s great with Sardines.
