Navajas (razor clams) are one of Ben's favorite foods in the entire world—and that's saying something. These are part of Month 1 of the Delicacies box, but also available as an add-on in case, like us, you just can't get enough!
You can eat these straight after opening, drizzled with olive oil, parsley, lemon juice, and salt and pepper, or used in a recipe—but honestly, we'll be pretty impressed if they make it uneaten past the counter where you open the can. And don't forget that tasty brine! You can sip it right from the can, or add it to a salt-friendly cocktail.
Pair with a light and acidic wine—you don’t want to lose the delicate flavor of these bad boys with oak and butter. We recommend a crisp Chablis or New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
